想買Canned Heat的專輯可不是說買就買那麼簡單
這藍調老團真的很複雜 （這裡有簡單介紹）
不同時期呈現的味道也不同
上wiki就知道團員名單落落長一串
可說是人人都會彈吉他人人都可當主唱
我大概是喜歡70s-80s大鬍子Bob Hite當主唱 / 90s Junior Watson當吉他唱 兩個時期

朋友推薦他們和John Lee Hooker合作過的雙CD專輯 Hooker 'n Heat
但我對純藍調的功力還沒練到那地步

為了避免CD買錯時期

今天才知道
加拿大藍調搖滾吉他/歌手Jeff Healey過世了

出生八個月罹患罕見癌症 必須摘除雙眼
三歲開始接觸吉它
十幾歲便組團演出
到了中年身體狀況愈下
做過多次腫瘤手術
2008年於新專輯發片前因癌症逝世
而這張專輯是暌違八年的藍調搖滾專輯
終究他的一生
仍以諷刺作為結局

上網聽Jett幾段晚期現場
充滿溫柔的生命力
尤其這首"Angel eyes"
曲末的Solo真讓我泛淚了

人到了某種年紀就會開始回歸挖掘老東西
相對地對於新進樂團資訊越來越貧乏
英國The XX是近年來令我驚艷的年輕樂團
2009發行的同名專輯
融合軟性後龐克/Psychedelic Folk/Trip-Hop/ R&B/Synthpop等曲風
簡單中求變 多樣不顯得雜亂無章
實在難以想像這種內斂居然出自一群二十出頭小伙子

去年底 鍵盤手Baria Qureshi宣佈退出（太操勞/不合？）
四人少一人 團員似乎沒有替補的打算
不愧是追求“簡單”的作風
下張專輯會不會因此帶給我們另一種的驚喜呢～

第一張專輯“Dreams”基本上仍維持清新派indie pop
2009第二張“Rules”添加較重的復古電氣味, 曲風融合更多元素
個人比較偏好“Rules”
整張聽起來簡單卻不無聊, 輕鬆又不至於太dancing

Bernard Sumner離開New Order後
與前吉他手Phil Cunningham另闢新地
以1992年的警匪電影"Bad Lieutenant"命為團名
同時找來Jake Evans擔任第二主唱兼吉他
成了俗麗的電子部份替換成三把吉他的"Brand New" Order.

可是Bernard並未因此滿足
2010年出了混音單曲"Sink or Swim Remix Bundle"
看來他並不打算從過去脫出
剛好讓因解散而遺憾不已的樂迷解解饞

"Common People" 是我認識Pulp樂團的開始
順理成章的"Different Class(1995)"是我購買他們的第一張專輯
也是個人認為最好的一張
而現實這張專輯的確讓Pulp解除解散危機 在英倫搖滾使簽上的大名

當時身邊有人不習慣Jarvis Cocker陰柔怪調的嗓音
畢竟我們處於Bon Jovi, Mr Big, Aerosmith那種青澀熱血的年紀
然而經過十多年
過去買的專輯有些生灰塵 有些不知跑哪去了
有些以前愛得要死 現在擱放在抽屜最底層慢慢被遺忘
但我對"Different Class"還是沒變~

其中收錄的曲目"Disco 2000"
更有人喻為英倫Brit-pop國歌
以下這一老一少重新詮釋 巧妙各有不同~~
